Australia's Toby's Estate Brings A Different Coffee Experience to Manila

(All pictures taken with my Iphone 5s. Better photos with my SLR soon. Food and Coffee Review soon.)

I am sure that some of you have noticed that I don't write about things I don't like or love. It's just my rule as a blogger. If there's a bad experience about a certain place but it doesn't kill me, I'll tell the owners or managers directly so they can improve on it.

Now, I am writing about one of my new favorite finds in my neighborhood - Toby's Estate Coffee Roasters. This is actually the second branch of Toby's Estate in Manila. The first one is located in the recently opened Century City Mall in Century City.

Let me give a brief background. For some people who aren't familiar with this group, Toby's Estate is originally from the Land Down Under - Australia. The man behind it is Toby Smith, another person whose passion for coffee has fueled his dreams to build his coffee empire. He dropped his law career to travel to different parts of the globe like Brazil, Colombia and Guatemala to learn more about the art of making coffee. The first branch opened last 2001 in Sydney. Years after, they have managed to put up branches in New York, Singapore and now they are in my favorite city -- Manila.

What drew me to this coffee shop initially was their lovely interiors. I love everything about the design! One sunny day, when I was walking to the park, I noticed the strikingly beautiful interiors when they were still building the shop. I was wondering what was going

Anything with brass is beautiful! These orb chandeliers are perfect.
They even have an interesting book/magazine selection.

The best thing about Toby's though would be their products, of course! I am now addicted to their Chai Latte.

Thank you, Toby's. I am in love.

I've tried some of their offerings at Century City Mall. After reading this post, I got excited, thus I have planned a visit at the Leviste branch probably this week.

Nice blog, btw! I'm loving your hotel features.
