Favorite Travel Photos of 2015 To Inspire You

Last year was one of my best years for travel. I took more than 30,000 photos using my Iphone and Nikon DLSR to document my trips. Here are some of my favorites:

1) Amankila. This resort's signature three-tired infinity pool with a spectacular view of the Lombok straight was one straight out of a Balinese dream. This seductive resort with black-sand beaches and serene private villas should definitely be on your wish list this 2016.

Beach clubs do not get better than this.

2). Venice - One foggy morning in a gondolier's life, before the costume change.

3) Velassaru Island - Maldives. The day when a childhood dream became a reality. These atolls are jewels of the Indian Ocean.

4).  Prague. A shot from the astronomical clock. This city was incredibly charming and romantic.

Beautiful winter morning in Charles Bridge. I had to brave the windchill with only two layers of clothing but it was worth the shot.
5) Taj Mahal in Agra. If there is one monument you have to see in the world, The Taj Mahal should be IT. I had to go back three times to take photos.

A photo that was inspired by National Geographic. Turn this upside down for some real photo magic.

If you want to make India more memorable, wake up with a view of Taj Mahal when you book any of the Rooms/Suites in Oberoi Amarvilas. (Click Oberoi for more photos).

6) La Mamounia - Marrakech. A member of the Leading Hotels in the World, this historic and palatial property has one of the most gorgeous indoor pools I have seen. Morocco hotels take it to a different level.

7) Amanusa. Our home in Bali was the highlight of our trip. You know what they say, the difference between a good trip or a great trip is the hotel or resort (And company, of course!). Click here for more information.
8) Discovery Shores in Boracay. Despite the island's rapid and unwanted development, this photo shows this favorite island getaway still has it.

9) Balesin Island. No doubt one of my favorite island destinations. During peak season, the hangar may be full of people sometimes before boarding. However, it is still as private as you have imagined. (Click Balesin 1 and Balesin 2 for more information). The only catch is that you have be a member.
10) Palawan. Palawan is the best island the world with good reason. I cannot wait to be back in El Nido next month. Black Island's (below) towering limestones, white sand, and utmost privacy can make it seem almost prehistoric.

A relaxing lunch in Huma Island Resort. (Click Huma for more informaion).
