Witnessing the Great Migration

It was a high that I had never experienced before. Despite all the hiccups and misadventures, our whole trip in Africa was unmatched. (This will be a short photoblog but I will be posting more soon)

Our trip was off to an incredible start in colorful Zanzibar, also known as Spice island. FYI, Zanzibar is the birthplace of the legendary Freddie Mercury. We stayed in Park Hyatt, a historic property in Stonetown that could be considered as one of the best on the island.

After exploring Zanzibar and its islands, it was time for the highlight of our trip - The Great Migration.  This phenomenon is one of the natural world's greatest spectacles. We booked everything via @a2asafaris and we got @asiliaafrica as our camp at the Serengeti. We could not have picked a better tour operator in Tanzania.

Our luxurious tent had those bucket showers that completed the whole Serengeti camp life.

Herds gathering all over the Serengeti.

Can you see our neighbor behind me?

Our trip ended in Cape Town, a city with stunning views almost everywhere you look. It was a perfect week full of dinner parties and wine tasting in Stellenbosch.

I promise I will finish this post as soon as I am back from another epic trip.
